Many Brandon Valrico residents along with other Tampa Bay people enjoyed a marvelous evening of Pops in the Park by the Florida Orchestra. The Free event was at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. The park is bordered by the Tampa Museum of Art, the new Glazer Children’s Museum, downtown Tampa, and the Hillsborough River. Across the river you could see the minuets of the University of Tampa. Young and old consumed an assortment of picnics as they relaxed under the stars to the music of the outstanding Florida Orchestra. I have been cultivating these amaryllis at my Valrico Home for over 25 years. The amaryllis froze back to the ground this winter. Now Look! The original bulbs came from my mother’s garden. Sadly she has been gone for along time.

I often do my real estate exploring by kayaking. It offers a whole new prospective and besides it is fun. On two recent trips I saw a dolphin jumping in the Hillsbourgh River and manatees in Crystal River.
